Václav Holický

During his studies at the Faculty of Law at Palacký University in Olomouc, he began to focus on the issue of public procurement. Since 2018, he has been working as a consultant-lawyer at Contract management, a.s., a company providing consultancy services in the construction industry, including FIDIC contract templates, budgets, public procurement administration, TDS, and OH&S. His main focus is the practical application of FIDIC contract templates in the implementation phase of construction works, particularly in resolving the time and financial claims of contractual parties. Currently, he is working on a rigorous thesis on this topic at the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. In addition to his role as a specialist in claim management, he also has experience as a Construction Site Manager. In the future, he plans to collaborate with colleagues on the development of DAAB (Dispute Adjudication/Avoidance Board) among public procurers in the Czech Republic and further deepen the practice of FIDIC among both procurers and contractors.
