Pavel Válek

A water management expert, manager, investor, and former handball referee. Since January 2019, Pavel has been the chairman of the board of directors of the Prague Water Management Company. In addition, he serves as the vice-chairman of the working group for water management within the environmental section of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and as the first vice-chairman of the Association of Water Supply and Sewerage Industry of the Czech Republic. His participation in eBF is evidence that he regularly lectures at significant domestic and international conferences, particularly in the water management sector. He is interested in innovation and smart technologies, which is why he founded a start-up several years ago focused on remote energy metering and the development of mobile applications in network industries.
