As a young, bold project manager at the National Bank of Slovakia, Marian was involved in preparing the historically first bond issuance and rating of Slovakia. In banks, he actively supported standard loan procedures and successfully recovered "bad" loans. Together with an excellent team of experts, he managed to save more than 60% of the 21 billion Kč in non-performing loans. He also engaged in buying and selling businesses for clients ranging from tens of thousands to 1.1 billion Euros. As a consultant, mentor, negotiator, and lecturer, he focuses on supporting leaders, including future ones, in advocating the desire for "self-improvement" over the desire to "be right." His goal is for decisions to be based on the best available option rather than the first acceptable solution. He is known as a "problem solver" fascinated by the influence of emotions and feelings on human decision-making and communication. He combines quantitative analytical thinking with the latest insights from behavioral sciences to offer those who aspire to grow a better alternative to established harmful myths and "impressionology" about leadership, sales, and communication. He studied finance in the USA and electric drives in Žilina. Outside of work, he collects electric guitars from the 1960s and slowly uncovers the secrets of playing the mouth harmonica.
