Dr Sagar Deva is Assistant Professor in the Department of English and American Studies at the University of Ostrava. He is also a specialist in both International Law and International Relations, having led the Global Governance programme at the University of York. He holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield, as well as a master’s degree in Global Politics and a Master of Laws in International Law. He is currently working on a contracted book with Routledge on changes in the global order brought about by the rise of Trumpian populism and has been invited to provide a number of public lectures on this topic both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
