Marek Zelenka

Marek Zelenka is a lawyer specializing in systemic recommendations for public administration, particularly focusing on fostering transparent, more trustworthy, and corruption-resistant local government. He is interested in topics at the edge of the law concerning public procurement. He has primarily associated his professional career with the non-governmental organization Revival, z.s., where he served as chairman from 2018 to 2022. His expertise lies in public procurement, conflict of interest, whistleblowing, access to information, and municipal periodicals. Until 2022, he was also one of the five guarantors of the State Reconstruction project. He is a member of the Government Council for Anti-Corruption Coordination and its working groups on transparency in state administration, conflict of interest, efficient management of state property, and whistleblowing. He is a member of the Ministry of Regional Development's expert group on the Public Procurement Act. Since 2023, he has been an external advisor to the Ministry of Regional Development for the national strategy of public procurement and manager of the chapter on Control and Supervisory Bodies. He was a member of the Monitoring Committee of the Employment Operational Programme. He studied at universities in Prague, Passau, and Budapest. He completed a professional internship at the LOH Rechtsanwälte law firm in Berlin.
