Jan Moudrý

Assoc. Prof. Ing. Jan Moudrý, Ph.D. is an associate professor at the Department of Agroecosystems, Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. His work focuses on sustainable agriculture, its environmental impact, and the promotion of organic and local food in public catering. He participates in various national and international research and educational projects. He chairs the working group on local food in public procurement under SZIF, serves as vice-chair of the Czech Technology Platform for Organic Agriculture, and is chair of the Association of Social Farming. He is also actively involved in the advisory organization PRO-BIO, in ministry-level expert groups, and is a member of Agroecology Europe and its Strategic Working Group under the European Commission.
