Branislav Hudec

Branislav works at the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development, and Informatization of the Slovak Republic as the Director of the Public Procurement Department. He also performs tasks for the Central Coordination Body Section, coordinating entities implementing EU-funded projects. He has more than 17 years of public procurement experience, including the Public Procurement Office, where he started, the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, and the private sector. At the Ministry, he performs tasks related to the public procurement of goods and services for the needs of the Ministry and coordinates. Furthermore, he provides methodological guidance to entities involved in the EU funds management system in public procurement. He is the author of the Unified Guide for Applicants and Beneficiaries on the Process and Control of Public Procurement for the 2014-2020 programming period and the new guide for the 2021-2027 programming period. In May, he will join the Public Procurement Office and head the unit responsible for methodology and training. He studied law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bratislava. In addition to his application practice, he also lectures and publishes.
