Roman Jarolímek heads the environmental division of the industrial section of the GES GROUP investment group, where he continues to develop companies focused on environmental technologies, waste processing, and energy resource utilization. He has long operated at the intersection of industry, investment, and innovation.He gained experience at Makro optimizing logistics processes and subsequently at Deloitte, where he worked on projects to improve efficiency in manufacturing companies. At GES GROUP, he has channeled this experience into building a successful technology portfolio with an international overlap. Nowadays, under the auspices of the technology company beECOTECH a.s. and with its highly sought-after PackWall products, the focus is on how ESG requirements, decarbonization, and pressure to use resources efficiently are impacting the industry, and how these changes influence corporate decision-making, including procurement and supply chain management. At eBF, he will share insights from the field: where sustainability makes business sense, where it is actually perceived as an obligation, and where new opportunities are emerging.
