Miroslav is an attorney and partner at the law firm KGS Legal. In his practice, he focuses primarily on two areas of law that are (unfortunately) sometimes intertwined: public procurement and criminal law. With over 15 years of experience in public procurement, he focuses primarily on assisting contracting authorities and strives to introduce new approaches to quality-based competition. He has experience with nearly two dozen above-threshold BVA procedures for services, working with leading Czech contracting authorities. He lectures and provides training on public procurement, and together with his colleagues, he devises new procedures; thanks to their efforts, they have significantly influenced the decision-making practices of the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) in procurement, with an emphasis on selecting high-quality suppliers.
