Janka Zvončeková

She finds fulfillment in work that allows room for creativity and a fresh perspective on established practices. She considers communication a key tool for achieving meaningful results. However, she does not view it only through words; she also emphasizes thoughtful actions based on expertise, experience, and a team’s effort to make things better. She studied International Relations – Economic Diplomacy at the University of Economics in Bratislava and during her study stays abroad in Budapest, St. Petersburg, and Tampere. After graduating, she entered the dynamic world of media and worked for many years in the newsrooms of TA3, STV (now STVR), and TV Markíza. She also gained experience in politics as Head of the Press Department of SDKÚ-DS and later in public administration as Director of the Press Department at the Public Procurement Office. She is the author of the concept of an open communication policy for a supervisory authority, which has become part of legislation in the field of public procurement. She currently works at Národná banka Slovenska.
