
Throughout his professional career, he has long focused on working with data, including its collection and analytical processing, with the aim of providing relevant and practically applicable outputs for the public sector, the business environment, and the general public. He has followed developments in both the domestic and global economy from various expert positions at Národná banka Slovenska. He currently serves as Director of the Cross-Cutting Initiatives Department within the Monetary Policy and Banking Operations division, where he is responsible for the strategic and conceptual management of structural analyses, climate change, and data science. He represents the National Bank of Slovakia in the international network NGFS (Network for Greening the Financial System), focusing on integrating climate and environmental risks into the financial sector. As part of this agenda, he also contributes to the activities of the Eurosystem Climate Change Forum, which focuses on the actions of euro area central banks in the field of climate and climate-related risks. He also serves as an alternate member of the Economic Policy Committee of the OECD and of the Government Council of the Slovak Republic for Competitiveness and Productivity. In 2023, during the tenure of the caretaker government, he held the position of State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic. In his professional work, he also draws on knowledge gained from international expert courses focused on macroeconomics and public finance, which he completed at institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Central Bank (ECB), the Federal Reserve System (FED), and the Bank of England.
